the butterfly.... {nature}

On the 4th of July, our local gardens had a free entry to their Butterflies Live exhibit.  With no where else to be, we headed over to brave the crowds (and wow, were there crowds). The wait was more then worth it (for me...the kids were not as interested.)I only ended up having about 20 minutes inside with over 300 different butterflies. Catching focus was a challenge as I had to catch them still or at least, snap fast enough and with a high enough shutter speed to not get motion blur or miss the shot.These are the images that resulted.

    Great Job with the butterflies they are tough to capture. Just beautiful! (not as beautiful as your children mind you...)
