I am a natural-light photographer in Richmond, VA. I fade into the background of your special events and capture moments as they unfold. I document the real and spirited moments of your life. I believe that photography is truly the "art of observation" and it is important to me, during our time together, that I am capturing the true, soulful moments of your journey, in the moment they happen.
My Past
My love for photography started my junior year in high school when I enrolled in a photography class as an elective. I was convinced I would go to college to be a photographer. I put all my eggs in one basket and when that basket came crashing down just a few months before my freshman year of university was to begin, I found myself enrolled in a school with no photography major. I stumbled along in a few photography classes through the art school and eventually dropped out of the classes due to a broken camera and very little income.
I find myself now, as an adult, with three small children, again entranced by my love of photography. I've enveloped myself in the art once again and am finding my way.
